[roc-info] volunteer opportunity

Orienteers:
Tomorrow (Saturday), as a Pick Up the Parks Day activity, a group will gather at Hopkins Point Lodge to spread out and remove gypsy moth eggs from trees in Mendon Ponds Park. The eggs are deposited on tree trunks and can be removed by scraping into a container. If you come, please bring a tool (spoon. scraper, stick...) and disposable container to be left with the parks dept. We have heard that ticks are out, so please be prepared. Gathering time is 8:30. Please join us if you can.
