[roc-info] Mendon ski-o is on!

Plenty of snow survived the rain and warmth, so come to Mendon Ponds for 
ski orienteering this Saturday!  (Courses can also be done on snowshoes.)

There will be three courses:
  - beginner - 2.4km, 8 controls
  - intermediate - 4.7km, 10 controls  (M/F16, M/F18, F55, M/F70)
  - advanced - 7.0km, 15 controls  (M/F19, M/F40, M55)
Age classes are indicated for those participating in the NYSSRA points 
series.

Registrations and starts 10-12 at Cavalry Lodge.


Additional orienteering opportunities --

Experienced orienteers can print out one or both of the winter training 
maps available on the ROC website (https://roc.us.orienteering.org/). 
These foot or snowshoe courses finish at Cavalry.

Ski orienteering at Garnet Hill on Sunday 1/27.  Beginner, short, and 
long ski orienteering courses and a 2-hour snowshoe score-o.  For more
